  • @platinumreflex I'm actually living in Colombia right now, and I don't do my own laundry. Maybe if/when I return to the U.S. I will. I'll keep you in mind :D

  • What number did you put the timer on for the washer setting?? do you ever get an rips in your clothes?

  • You're pretty much famous for showing someone how to do the laundry. Remember who your friends are when you get to Hollywood. Okay?

  • wow you got a load of dirty clothes

  • Awesome! You should turn your ideas into a full lenght movie!

  • Just one thought: It's great as it is, but have you considered perhaps adding background music to this clip? On the other hand I can see your angle, many of the best moments in the history of movies are the ones where the director trusts his ability to tell a story enough to leave muisc out. I'm especially thinking about Kubrick's "2001 - A space oddyssey". While some scenes are drenched in music others are completely silent.

  • yes i agree, i loved the focus drift not only in its executuion, but also in its concept. so simple, so brilliant. just as everything is seemingly perfect and the temperature is set the hand returns for one more miniscule adjustment. this is a man who understands that detail holds the beauty within.

  • did you see the way he flicks in and out of focus on that knob before he stretches out his hand to adjust it? that is presence. it takes you right there. it's those little things that makes this seemingly simple film stand out.

  • That has just completely blown me away. Stark, vivid, real and yet such humility. Yes definitely Polanski in there I would say and also Mike Leigh I suspect? Yes? I particularly loved the scene where you set the temperature dial. Incredible.
