wow thats one of the few times i would say a trailer is actually brilliant, wow that was a great made trailer for whoever did it. they actually watched the film instead of just make up stuff to sell the film. also i love roujin z espeacily with Toni barry as the main voice, i like her voice so much aswell as another voice, john jay Fitxgerald who plays the computer geek that is helping the military in the film.

This is a pretty good trailer, but it doesn't give you any real idea of what the movie is about. Based on this, I bet you couldn't tell that the bed actually goes on a Godzilla-like rampage throughout Tokyo.

I think I remember this when they aired it on SCI-FI channel LONG time ago. I remember it as "that other Akira movie" when I was younger.

@Vampirehunterponcho If you really like to get spoilered, read further: They make it to the beach where the nurse manages to break the core of the machine that was corrupted by the military version. The old man is put into the home for the elderly with the hacker geezers. But when the nurse and her friends pay a visit there seems to be an earthquake, the loving wife is back with a new body, merged with a giant buddha statue. It fades to white while everyone prays. Credits.

This trailer does a fantastic job at hiding the fact that it's a comedy and a satire.

I rented this movie back in 96 when i was 14/15 when i had an anime obsession thanks to Akira, it is from Katsuhiro Otomo who wrote, produced, designed and director Akira and Steamboy. Loved it!

Yes this is the Anine i saw after watching Samurai Pizza Cats. this was on like Sci Fi Channel and there was this host who showed anime. This movie, Akira, Odin, Eyes of Mars, Lilly Cat, Cashan robot hunter, Robot Carnival, Projet Ako, Record of Lodes war movie and a lot more but i saw them all and recorded them Apollo Smile was the host  : )

The themes in this film are really hard to deal with when you've had to care for an elderly person. But the film is excellent and handles the subject tastefully.

And what a well made trailer!
