@debdon2002 can you tell me how you got her to be patient enough to leave the treat on her paw until you let her eat it? My Lab is almost 4 months and I was thinking that he would be too young to have such patience when he's so food driven lol...but yea, so I'm just wondering if you could give advice on how to help my dog learn this patient trick.

Aaah this so reminds me of my black lab Marley. They are such beautiful and inteliigent dogs. You should be very proud of your progress with this little lady, she's beautiful and smart.

first: congratulations for your beautiful, smart and loyal labrador Ebony =D
second: I'm looking for female labrador name, I know names add personality like it will be calm, silly, brave or all excited! Well, I'd like to know if Ebony is a calm dog. Is she?
how in the world did you train her, she is so smart, and soo loyal, great job, how does the clicker help?

The clicker is the key to training. This is my 5th puppy I've trained but my first using a clicker. She is so much further ahead then my previous puppies at the same age. The clicker teaches them to learn. They start offereing behaviors...which makes each successive skill quicker and easier to learn.
