Al lot of drama queens on this comments page. There are a million different ways to get the club to the proper impact position. There are different teachers with different opinions that get the job done for different people. Who cares what you call it if it works for you. So all you swing nerds just chill out for a minute ok?

they are both B grade pros

he back to convencional golf swing.. No more Stack and tilt

@vinesboyseventysix what are you???
lol

Stack and Tilt is legit. It takes more than a superficial understanding to see that it isn't as strange as it sounds. It is nearly identical to the same swing Jim Hardy teaches under the name "one plane swing." In my view, it is just an different approach to teach a solid one plane action. The swing is very similar to those of Ben Hogan, Sergio Garcia, Zach Johnson..just to name a few. Check out their swings and you'll see the slightest touch of what classic golf technique calls a reverse pivot.

stack and tilt will never or it is very unlikely to make world number one becuase it robs the player of so much power by making a reverse pivot the only world number on ever who hasn't been long is nick faldo does that tell you something??? Plus the best players of the modern age Nicklaus and Tiger don't use it and neither do a lot of the players on tour stack and titlt is accurate but thats about it whereas a proper swing can be powerful and accurate

It is not rubbush. You obviuosly do not know much about the stack and tilt because there are not any instructors in Europe. Do your research and you will learn that a lot of pros are switching. Just look at some recent winners on the Tours. Dustin Johnson, John Cook are stack and tilters!

Totally agree with you catachan1990. This method is so retrictive,its not athletic or healthy! Badders was swinging much better under Leadbetter!
-
Yeah, good call. Rubbish. That's why Badds is playing on the Tour, and your not! A good spine angle at impact is a terrible idea. We should never consider a different method of swinging. The fact is, no one golf swing on the Tour is the same. Different strokes for different folks, and I say Badds' swing is one of the most simple and beautiful out there. Johnny Miller thinks so, too, and I believe he knows a little about playing stick.
awesome vid, i'm telling you this swing works... now i am swinging my long irons more consistently than the traditional swing lol.. any chance you have a clip of him with a driver?
