Info on Olive oil http://www.oliveoilsource.com/article/frying-olive-oil

This info came from ^^that site.

Bottom line, olive oil is a superior health choice over commonly used vegetable oils. Not only is olive oil an excellent choice for light to medium frying, but it is unsurpassed to drizzle over a salad, use in marinades or in sauces that are mildly heated. In our kitchen, the advantage of using olive oil for healthy living surpasses the use of the vegetable oils for slow and medium heat frying.

For those who are curious about oils and the frying process in general please read Russ Parsons' excellent first chapter in "How To Read a French Fry".

  • BTW, your stove is so freakin clean! Makes me feel bad. lol

  • @mollygrace hahaha

  • Stupid thing said my comment was too long and erased it! Ugh. Ok, I just wrote how to make oven-fried chicken. You spray a baking sheet with Pam, put th coated chicken on, lightly spray the chicken, then bake it real high at first.to make it "fried" and then bake it at a lower temp to cook the inside. It's tastey and even lower in fat and calories. cuzyou have to count the oil that gets soaked up in the coating when you fry.

  • @mollygrace sounds good ty for the advice

  • i use the soy flour also it actually tastes better ten the wheat flour looks good

  • @sweat2lve good idea

  • @derekandkeyasha01 Coconut oil also contains less calories per gram. It's around 6.8 calories per gram vs most other fats which are 9 calories.
