I remember my first solo, weird sensation, especially the way the helicopter sits. I done my first Solo after about 15 hours i think. I was ready for it from about 11 hours but its not about rushing things with Helicopters. I'm still learning but have covered almost everything, I have flown a few circuits and local flying. Keep up the nice flying. I have tried lots of advanced manovers with my instructor. Very tricky and challenging. Ive done slope landing, limited power take off and landing etc
wow, I wish my first solo lift off would have been as smooth as this one!!!

I had my first solo about 7 weeks after you posted this - mid march 08.
It feels weird in there without an instructor on the other side to balance you out at first.

Nice, how many hours have you got now? Hope you have plenty of safe and fun hours to come.
