First of all, I totally respect Obama's speech for making this issue more clear. With US citizen and Chinese, I'm sure that we can get along with each other. In the past, Mao and Lim Biao were dangerous creatures, ruling and killing the Chinese in mainland China. Now it's time to change. I believe that the Chinese government is not stupid, so why be enemies before becoming friends? It doesn't make sense to be enemies, it's better to be friends.
