Russia still sents bear planes to spy on countries. I live in the Netherlands and now and then I hear on the news that the airforce had to intercept a bear plane

I think the Bear aircraft are still around. It was a big ugly turboprop aircraft the Soviet Union used for long range reconnisance, and anti submarine warfare. They were around for a long time. Capable of flight across the Pacific Ocean (keep in mind Russia is only about a half mile from Alaska) to spy on the United States. I've been overflown by Bear aircraft, they didn't seem to know we were there. That was during the time CWO Johnny Walker was in business.

I can relate to this song. Having been in antisubmarine warfare during the cold war. I know very well what a Soviet Bear Aircraft is.
