This was semi lucky
Towards the end everything kindof came together

Anyway, this is an excellent quality octahedron purchased from Scott Bedard who custom makes them. You can find him on the twistypuzzles forum

  • is this solved like a larger pyraminx?

  • pretty much, yea

  • And actually yours in the video has one more layer than mine. Just to point that out.

  • so as I said earlier, yours is probably a knockoff skewb diamond, which is a completely different puzzle

  • Dude, I got one of these on Ebay for $13, there's no way I'd pay over $100. lol

  • no you really didn't. You most likely got either a pyraminx or knockoff skewb diamond. In either case, you paid too much. lol

  • The picture in the eBay page showed the same item....but most likely of poor quality. And I already have a pyraminx so it's not that. I'm not mad or anything. Just trying to explain.

  • it's more like an extended pyraminx

  • i think its solved just like a rubiks cube

    it turns the same

the faces are corners and the corners are faces

  • few first steps yes

    not the last layer
