Beer Bottle Explosion

Someone had the bright idea to put water in a beer bottle, seal it and put it on the stove. The expected result was for the bottle cap to shoot off. It didn't; the bottle's bottom exploded and it rocketed into the ceiling. We wanted to get it on video, so we tried it again....and this happened.

Find a beer bottle and fill it almost all the way up with water, seal the top back on, and put it on the stove. Simple as that.

It took about 5-10 minutes. Those coils get extremely hot fast. Basically, as soon as the water starts to boil, expect something explosive.
