if u all think u can produce better may u should try it and see if u can do better i have worked at wheel and jeopardy now for 14 yrs and harry has done nothing but improve the show if he did not he would not be there still u know we are not forcing u to watch it or write all neg comments about things u cant control or dont even know about some things cannot be changed and others have to its called progress deal with it or dont watch
I wish Sony never hired Harry Friedman. WarioBarker and PriceRight89 are absolutely right about Friedman's hand in unnecessarily messing with aspects of the show JUST to make changes. He should be embarrassed about that.
When Nancy Jones was the producer, she made a show that was exciting and gameplay focused. Friedman has made Wheel of Fortune dull and more like an infomercial within a game show. Does anyone really care about the Hotels and/or Casinos in those Tour Guide Vanna segments?

There's also these (which I don't know if he's responsible. They still irk me to this day).
-One wheel template for the entire show since 1996.
-Removal of the Surprise wedge in 1998.
-$5,000 *still* the largest amount on the wheel that can be multiplied. The show is still set up in such a way that no full round with the $5,000 can be played on every episode.
Nancy Jones was mentioned just a few months earlier when figuring out whether a Megaword senteced was acceptable. Harry must have just been named producer of WOF not too long before this. Harry didn't take over for George Vosburgh on J! until two years later.
I guess TPTB at Sony fired Nancy and George the way Fremantle and/or Barker axed a number of longtime TPIR personnel.

Agreed. He's also responsible for -
* Forcing a Final Spin in EACH SHOW
* Using a redundant second Toss-Up at the top of the show
* Eliminating all non-top-dollar four-digit amounts, or refusing to bring back certain ones (regular $1000? $1500? $2000? ........$1250?)
* Making the "Prize Puzzle" all-trips (just call it a "Trip Puzzle" and get it over with!)
* Making the "Mystery Round" $10,000 cash
