It's a sad, sad song, but I like it very much.
It's written by Aaron Zeitlin and the music is composed by Sholom Secunda.
I don't use the lyrics mostly known by Donovan or Joan Baez.
I found on wikipedia different words they touched me more than the popular lyrics.

Das ist ein wunderschönes, trauriges Lied und ich mag es sehr. Du hast das ganz toll interpretiert und so ganz anders, als ich es kenne und singe. (In Jiddisch gefällt es mir aber trotzdem besser als in Englisch) Du hast da wahnsinnig viel Gefühl reingelegt... Danke für das schöne Stück. ;)
