Trevor Paglen profiles secret U.S. government installations that range from a weapons laboratory in New Mexico to prisons in Kabul and air bases in Georgia and California. Mr. Paglen contends that these clandestine operations maintained by the U.S. government and private corporations operate on a $40 billion annual budget. This event was hosted by City Lights Bookstore in San Francisco.
Had this book exchanged in our Pattaya bookshop Canterbury Tales Cafe & Bookshop and found it an interesting read.
Well done that man.

I can't believe that this posting of Mr. Peglin talking about his insanely cool and sceary book hasn't had more views. For anyone who views this really needs to read his book "Blank Spots On The Map".........It was really cool how he camped out on the 18th floor of the Tropicanna Hotel in Vegas. He got to watch the coming's and goings of the workers who secretly fly in and out of a classified/restricted air terminal that the CIA & DOD runs at McNarren Airport. That goes to these sceary places
