@darth2460 ...which is a "red herring" to this debate. No one is debating that George Lucas wrote the screenplay to the Original Trilogy. Once again, your sophomoric antics fail, along with your fallacious logic.

Once again, thank you for demonstrating to the rest of the YouTube readers on how NOT to argue a point. : ) When you are done with amateurish banter in hollow rhetoric, feel free to try again.

hahaha you talk the biggest pile of shit i have ever heard, you say i dont know how to "argue" (your an idiot for saying just that), still though u have not provided any points on the matter, just commenting on other peoples saying how wrong they are and how they cant argue a point hahaha, you're very sad and very silly.
The obvisous reason for the change is that when young kids who have never seen it before will see it bringing together the 6 films you idiot.

@darth2460 Actually, I already made my talking points on the original post. Your fallacious logic by use of ad hominems and red herrings attempt to set a distinction to your points, when my post still relates to the topic at hand.

While you criticize my posts, you do a very poor job of arguing. You claim I am sad, but I'm not the one who has to rely on sophomoric insults and child-like banter.

Perhaps you should look yourself in the mirror and realize who the sad one really is. : )

@darth2460 Once again with the ad-hominems and nonsensical approach to musing.

Had you figured out the definition of "cohesive", you'd realize that your argument implies that the Hayden Christiansen ending makes it stick together, or at least makes a logical connection with consistency.

However, it does not. Again, Luke witnessed firsthand, the "Return of The Jedi", which is older Anakin, not some teenager in the new trilogy.

Perhaps you should look up your definitions more before posting?

Ok you did not read my post correctly, cause your to stupid to, did i ONCE! mention luke, i was referring to the people who have never seen it and they will see it for the first time and once they see hayden at the end they will it all comes together in the end, of course darth vader will be older in ROTJ that happens overs time, BUT even lucas said that he did it because of this and that he reverted back to the time when he was a tru jedi and when he was with the light side again.

@darth2460 People who claim that others are "stupid" would be wise to check their grammatical and logical errors before issuing a retort as crass as yours.

The overall RoTJ audience would be able to understand the correlation with "Old Anakin", since it fits the storyline of both the novel and movie perfectly. Lucas' excuse were a convenient explanation, when old Anakin were also a true Jedi.

I agree to disagree on this matter. Neither one of us will convince each other of which is right.

I understand the reason for the change, I just don't agree with it. Lucas said that Hayden was used at the end because that is representative of what Anakin was before he turned to the dark side. However, at the end of Jedi when Vader takes off his mask, he has embraced the light again, therefore he is once again Anakin Skywalker.

I'm all in favor of both versions being available, both for newbie fans, and for us old diehards like myself.
