Over a heated debate about a deed, and the increase in the "Big Tent" purchase, Carol Gault takes on the Mayor about the "emergency ordinance". Carol is a new member of the City Council, and we hope she starts speaking up more like she did this night. Help give Carol the courage she needs. At least on this night, she stood up for the people.

I have met and spent some time with Carol Gault. I really do believe she is the type of person we need on the city council. Just like anyone newly elected I think it took a little time for her to stand up to the "older" members. With time I think she will provide even a stronger presence in that chamber. I just wish I had some say in the matter but I live in the county. Only my tax dollars go to the city.
