@statician1 The vid features Ronnie on lead and a random comment I happened upon praising Marriot, which is understandable, I found puzzling. As for the for the latter, you can understand the underlying sentiment and not intended as a personal attack, can't you?

@Khultan I Never said it was Marriot that was singing. It was a general comment about Marriots persona.Your comment is even more "odd" that you would fire abuse at what i said.

@statician1 How odd a comment and Ronnie is singing. You [censored].

This was the year I came to Canada... Thankfully I brought the LP "There Are but Four Small Faces" with Tin Soldier, Here comes the Nice, Itchycoo Park, Up the Wooden Hills to Bedfordshire and of course Green Circles otherwise I'd have been consigned to a life of the Partridge Family, the Osmonds and the Guess Who... Thank you SF for helping me stay British...eh!

absolutely ace! xxx

Recorded on 2nd September 1967 for the German programme "Beat Club". Such a shame the colour print of this performance is in the hands of private collectors! The green circles must have looked more effective than grey circles.

Does Ronnie sing lead on this? He's singing lead in the video. I always figured it was Marriott.

The first record with phasing is "The Big Hurt" by "Miss Toni Fisher" in 1959, produced by Wayne Shanklin and recorded at Gold Star Studios in Hollywood.
Itchycoo Park by these guys featured a lot of phasing. "Green Circles" though is really, really great! "The Small Faces" ...so fresh, talented and entertaining.
Vids like this prove to me that marriot is one of the coolest people to grace this earth!!
Great upload mate.
