OK people your wrong about Pastor Cal and Pastor Jan Switzer and there kids.... I went to that church a few years ago..... Well like 5 years ago was my last time...They helped me out. They didnt judge my criminal past. Infact thats where I first heard of victory christian center in jail.. They dont have a bently they had an acura last I checked,They dont preech spiritual cotton candy. They do lots for the community and for god. They feed thousands of people on

@colinb890 Apparently Cal & his wife Jan, if that's who you are referring to, have hightailed it to Canada. I'm would bet that Cal ran into some kind of scandal, whether it be financial or a fling with a congregant, secretary or prostitute. Yes, Oklahoma, home one of the number one conmen/ministers in history Oral Roberts, is where Word of Faith crooks usually go, either there or Texas. Your pal Cal seems to be keeping a low profile, likely he's lying low to steer clear of a major scandal!

@colinb890 I'lll bet the minister of this church you attended drove a very expensive car and lived extremely well! I've noticed that ministers of these types of churches tend to have hugely inflated egos, and they also tend to say the same things over and over. Yes, the people who go to those types of churches tend to really want "something for nothing"!

@colinb890 Well, skepticism/discernment yes but Atheism as well, colinb890. Yes, you're exactly right, Word of Faith has everything the average greedy, selfish, non-thinking congregant loves. However, when non-Christians or non-religious people see all this it only re-inforces their belief that all religion includiing Christianity is sheer nonsense!!! I've often wondered if these greed-based ministries and the ministers the run them have any conciene orcommitment to anyone but themselves!
