boswellia sacra is by far not "the most valued species" of boswellia. In fact, the majority of research done has been on carteri, whose healing properties are shown to be superior to sacra. Even more interesting is that recent research done by Cardiff University in the UK shows that boswellia frereana is even more potent in it's healing properties than either carteri or sacra.
