  • I'm very shocked that Rachel Maddow just twisted Hillay's comments on immigration out of context with very cynical weak political analysis that is expected from Chris Mathews. This has nothing to do with people being African American or Latino. Why are they always trying to imply all immigrants are Latino. I'm British & I want to live & work in America 1 day (only if a Democrat is President) & that would make me an immigrant who along with most UK citizens, has a different ethnic origin.

  • She is not a devil at all. She is an extremely intelligent and capable person, the Republicans know it and they are afraid of her.

American politics is a contact sport. It is complex and things are not necessarily what they seem.

There are all sorts of dirty tricks afoot. The opposition is always keen on promoting the advance of the weakest potential adversaries for obvious reasons and smearing the stronger ones.

Stay tuned. We are only warming up. I predict the most rancorous election ever.

  • Why doesn't Pat have eyes? Why does he just have two black slits?

  • The Republicans are fantastic at creating a cloud of negativity around the word "Clinton".

  • I'm British and really don't understand why people seem to be so vehemently anti-Hillary. Why is she such a devil?

  • They can pay a whole lot less than $15 per hour.

  • I get along fine with my neighbors, if I thought the human species was divided by aspects that are merely cosmetic I would say they are from another group. Their African ancestors are more recent than mine. That doesn't tell me anything of essential importance.

  • Not everyone considers low-wage jobs as belonging to anyone in particular.

Unfortunately much of the country is still racialist (they draw a distinction based on 'race') if not outright racist (they draw a negative distinction).

Until we reach the understanding that 'race' is a social construct and not a scientific construct we will not put this to rest.

  • Because unskilled labor is not worth $15 per hour.

  • Why the hell are low-wage jobs considered African-American jobs? That's setting the bar low. African Americans (like myself) should reach higher and not cry about losing status of being on the loe-end of the spectrum.
