its a bit of an old vid (it all happened months ago), in fact nathan has since gone on to crash another plane, and a helicopter. and he's just gotten a new car.
anyway, one day we decided to catch nathans condor on tape (a 2-channel rc glider). this innocent little outing turned into a tragedy of epic proportion. not really, but it was kinda sad.

Did you ever fly further than a hundred yards? Find a place without TREES an keep trying. Remember! RC planes don´t like trees. Or lampposts or anything like that!

The radio looks like one for cars. You need one for air as it was designed to transmit into the sky
The ones for cars do not get very far when looking for a Tx that is off the ground.
also find some slope lift and that plane will fly for hours. It can be repaired

You broke a very good glider, it's mournful.
I have one for a long time. I use a small .19 glow and soaring by 15min. without fuel.

I new what I was doing, I made sure to use my JR radio. There is nothing wrong with that. And after studying how thermals work I found out how I could have saved that crash too. I also fly 3D profile planes.

the tail surfaces are the elevator and rudder not ailerons and rudder!!!!
