The procession continues along Kensingston Road, passing a bus stop. This stretch of road is normally very busy. It then proceeds along Hyde Park Gate and then into the Park itself to proceed along the entire stretch of South Carriage Drive to Hyde Park Corner. This stretch of road is usually very quiet and is lovely to walk along in the summer.

I had an email from a viewer asking for a copy of the tape. I am looking into acquiring the equipment to make copies of it onto DVD. If successful, I will make copies available. I already have the capacity to make PAL VHS copies. Please email if interested.

  • the last funeral procession of english royal family in the 20th century.

  • Well British Royal Family would be more appropriate, as she was Princess of Wales and the Queen was at Balmoral.

  • I wish i had a copy of this.

  • LMAO i think you missed a few people

  • You don't seem to grasp the fact that this is what her people wanted..the people who loved her. It repesented an acknowlegement from the Royal Family that she was truly held in high regard. If they'd had their way, they'd have probably left her to be buried in France. Unless you're really a Brit, you have no way of understanding how we felt about her.

  • the second most important funeral in human history after King Tut.

  • still sad to watch after all these years, guess its understandable since its estimated 2.5 billion people watched this funeral

  • I AGREE! It's sad that lowly trash must exist among eternal beauty. Just plan sad.

  • I know what you mean. And anyway, as soon as someone dies, everyone loves them/even worships them.

  • oh my god..this makes me (even) prouder to be english.........
