The sound is very good. What I wonder about is the longevity of the heads. Over time the wood will either wear away or potentially crack. If that were to happen would the whole thing need to be replaced? Can those black wooden heads be replaced or are they all one single unit? I'm not a bongo player yet and I don't know the terminology for the parts. I just heard the name cajon for the first time at this video.
