This is a half-rendition of Phineas Newborn's arrangement of All The Things You Are from his debut CD Here is Phineas. He incorporates lots of tricky left-hand runs not unlike Bach's four part writing and Rachmaninov's preludes. I don't really do it justice here but I hope it encourages you to go out and get Phineas's CD, he was only about 22 at the time of the recording and he demonstrates a stunning command of the instrument and a beautiful harmonic concept. I'll upload a better version of this once my chops are up to it,now that I have time to do practice!
Hope you enjoy it!
Nice playing, you deserve a better digital piano :-)
If you like check my version in trio. Bye!

Some beautiful runs in there, despite the sound ... really something.

That's a Yamaha P70... A very nice "low-cost" digital piano. Nice and responding touch and good sound PROVIDING you don't use built-in speaker wich sounds extremely terrible! I had one, and i never used them once since it was barely audible lol

Terrible sound coming out of that piano, possibly the recording. Nice playing though.
