Early Fall and late winter snows are dangerous, wet sloppy flakes the size of potatoe chips. Montana snow when it is 5-10 degrees you can 60 mph on, nice "dry" snow. Try pulling a set of doubles over Mount Hood ( US 26 ) when that stuff is dumping 2-3 inches per hour. Better have 3 railers.... :-)

Another reason I love New England....Nice bitter DRY snow....5-10 degrees is very invigorating, dont ya think?
