  • Dumbtards, this was meant to be nostalgic, to sound like the 1800s. This isn't classical music, it's folk music. If you don't like it, go somewhere else.

I think this is great within its genre.

  • @JustinJets You don't have to be religious to appreciate beautiful music performed with conviction and passion. I was raised in southern California by atheists and this song still chokes me up.

  • you are all idiots, she sings quite clearly

  • @thegrinchl7 If you can't spell Ralph's name you shouldn't brag and you really shouldn't proclaim yourself superior to anybody--your claim to being better than anybody is worthless--learn some manners, if you can

  • @grundoon51 - Well, thankfully most of us have better sense than to brag about what happens in the south. If it's not hanging blacks from a sour apple tree it's their penchant for having sex with their own daughters. I actually enjoy Bill Monroe and Ralph Stanlely and Emmylou Harris. But this woman needs a garden hose taken to her. As for me being here...if she can single handedly ruin one of my favorite movies (True Grit) with that HONK, I can ruin one of her videos.

  • @thegrinchl7 This song is about as hard core Southern country as it gets, and many of the people who sing it and mean it, not being conservatory trained, actually sound like that. If it makes you crazy, why do you keep listening to it?

  • @grundoon51 - If the words were that important, WHY would

she slur the pronunciation so badly? And why does she sing

from her NOSE instead of her diaphragm? Only Alfalfa from

Our Gang has ever gotten away with that!

  • @thegrinchl7 Yes, I DO understand what she's saying, and yes, the words are important, but you don't seem to get either one...

  • @grundoon51 - Can YOU understand what she's saying?

Oh, let me guess...it's not the words that are important...

    it's the feeling"? Ugh!

  • @kaltoros Amen! :)

  • It's a beautiful hymn !!!

  • @thegrinchl7 Really,really cute--think you're funny?
