Ollila is Impress with Reuters News Gathering with Nokia Phone

It was a great honor to meet Ollila. I told him how I plan to get a Nokia N95 for my video news gather. He remarked how impressed he's been with the the use of the phone by Reuters correspondents.

Here's a great photo taken this morning by Michael Ian.

  • The american are envy because we speak foreign languages and they don't.

  • He's so slow. The... umm... words... come out... umm... so... umm... slowly. You can see the interviewer is getting bored.

  • @jonahl1

  • Where did you get that? Are you saying that Ollila is not on "avarage" level at english? Are you saying that all the other businessmen in the world are much much better than him?

Man... go to France, Germany, Spain, Portugal or Italy (the list is long) and you will find out that the knowledge of english is not very common even around Europe.

  • I'm stupid. And you're Finnish :) enough said.

Do you seriously insist that average english skills aren't essential in the international business world?

If not essential, a good english knowledge certainly helps in almost any situation internationally.

  • What does his status have to do with his ability to speak english? There are many many businessmen in the world who don't speak as good english as him...

    You're stupid

  • Funny how a man of his status is unable to speak english properly. Or even pronounce the word "page".. O.o

Gotta give some credit to Finns, their english always provides a good laugh.

  • He is great great Finnish leader. Wiser than einstein. :D
