@MedievalJester who said a tiger takes on an elephant? An elephant could easily kill any other land animal short of another elephant. Im just saying full grown elephants do fear large cats and have been known to run away from them. Unless of course you are a elephant I don't think you can say what an elephant fears. But yes in a head-to-head fight an elephant would win if that's what you want to hear -_-

@killaguy555 Only baby elephants fear tigers NOT an adult elephant. I think your underestimating the enormous power of an elephant or a bull. Not even by ambush can a tiger take on a full grown healthy elephant.

@MedievalJester You don't understand what i mean! Yes tigers may sneak up on animals thats what makes them so deadly! Their one of the best ambush predators in the world, and its not down to pure strength its the effectiveness of the tiger and the way it kills animals that makes it so strong. And yes even african elephants fear tigers it has been shown for then to actively avoid encounters with them and be chased off by a lone tiger. I think your underestimating the power of a tiger my friend.

@killaguy555 African tigers? an adult African/Asian elephant fears no land animal in this world. Tigers might bring down large pray by sneaking and attacking from behind, but face to face an adult gaur or say a Spanish bull is too much for a single tiger. Also I have yet too see actual footage of a tiger bringing down an adult gaur. Tigers are strong indeed but nothing compare to the strength of a bull or gaur.
