  • he does make it look easy but i think there should be more on the scales getting smaller where the bend is and how they stick out a bit as the body twists round, thats what i'm in search of.. think there could be a little more depth. thanks anyway though.

  • thanks for this video.

  • thx for this i really needed this for a drawing im doing

  • can u show how to make the scales shine thanks

  • wow...so many people actually admitted that they did the dragon scales backwards!!

it's like putting a PENIS on a female figure.

Why don't you wanna be tattoo artist go to the book store and do some research or go online and look at the dragon or koi before trying to do the tattoo.

  • Someone is tattooing in the background.. This mofo made me feel so stupid I been having a hard time drawing scales and he made it looked so easy. Great video

  • Damn this bring back nightmares of a tattoo I did as an apprentice long ago. Big ass dragon with scales going the wrong way!

I like to make a grid by drawing two sets of parallel lines, ending up with diamond shapes in which the round scales are drawn inside. Or leave the diamond shape to draw snake type scales. Experiment with changing angle of the two line groups to alter shape of scale. Helps line things up when the the koi or dragon is turning.

  • excellent dude thnx a bunch

  • How do you keep them all the same size ?
