  • f40 is right about the whistle they blow it that way in old town because they have to keep it quiet. but when they are outside of town they really open up that whistle and let'r blast. NICE VID!

  • Thanks.

  • Did the new exhibit open yet?

  • Which one? The 2479 or whatever the # is?

  • The 2467. It ran at the GGRM with 2472 till her flue time ran out. She's part of the new "Workin' on the Railroad" exhibit.

  • Thats the same time as our 97, only difrence is ours has the original rectanguler tanks, this one has a slop in the front.

  • Hey! Looks good in black. The three preserved 'USA Tanks' (of exactly the same type) in the UK are in other colours, but black looks best, I reckon. They were sent here in WW2, where they were very much needed and welcome. They're main task was sorting freight at Southampton docks and pulling short- distance heavy consists.

  • I just sent you the voices 'bout a minute ago. And yes, I did visit the museum and went into the Cab Forward's cab!!! It was fun.

  • I been there before! Did you go into the Railroad museum? One more thing. Did you get the script, I cant finish part 2 without it.
