This is the first half of my "comeback" set at the World Exotica showcase at Lafayette Grill.* I survived a near-fatal asthma attack two weeks before and decided to do a tribute to two of the biggest influences in my life: Bellyqueen's Kaeshi Chai and the most awesome Brooklyn-based Tribal band, Djinn.

The musical selection is "Brooklyn Baladi" taken from Djinn's first album "The Middle East Side". Also, please note that this performance includes the Turkish Drop which was not previously demonstrated my instructional video series.

*NOTE: I was very fortunate to have been in otherwise superior physical condition prior to hospitalization and *strongly* suggest that anyone with a medical condition that needs to be monitored should consult with a physician before and after starting or returning to a regular exercise/dance regimen.
