This great Appalachian Tune needs to be played on a dulcimer.... I like to hear the notes using banjo picks rather than the typical strumming action. Couldn't help but tag Amazing Grace on to the piece.

  • what style are you playing? i usually play on the melody string only

  • @TheMCAsians I don't know if there is a style to how I've learned the song, but I too play the melody line, but you can find a few of the notes sound great with the middle or top string added a fret or two off.. yes it could be considered a chord, but if you stay on the melody line... I just consider it harmony.

  • Thank you very much... It is a simple melody that everyone should have the hum at any time.

  • this song is really pretty :)

  • Thanks
