Michelle Kwan - U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame Class of 2012

Michelle Kwan, the most decorated figure skater in American history, has been elected to the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame Class of 2012. The induction will take place at the 2012 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships, Jan. 22 - 29, at HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif.

FINALLY, U.S. never seem to want to give her the Hall of Fame Honor because she "never" won the Olympic Gold, so it seems she's not unworthy of this honor. But, every since Michelle Kwan left the US skating world, NO US figure skating had been able to make it to the top and stay at the top for the last 6 years! Now they FINALLY APPRECIATES Michelle Kwan and knows how good she was.

what i wish for? That she would skate one last skating year. Just for the fun of it. For her, and for us, having the joy of watching her. She can still do it! And so what if she wins or loses in a competition. The joy will be in watching it.!!

Rudy Gallindo probably paid for Michelle's demand that the stage be all hers...he more than qualified but God Forbid that Kwan share the spotlight.

Michelle Kwan, is not just the most decorated figure skater in American history, but she's also the most beloved sport icon in American history. She happens to be America's sweetheart, the second after Mary Lou Retton- gymnast who was the first. I miss Michelle Kwan more than ever since I have not seen any recent videos of her and is wondering if she is continuing to perform professionally alongside Sasha, Shizuka, Mao, Joannie and Miki. I REALLY want to see MORE of Michelle Kwan!!! :-(
