  • Hi.. I just install EWQL Symphonic Orchestra Gold but i can't make the sound goes out in FL 10. I tried standalone and it works very good.. And also with Cubase 4...But nothing on FL. even seting up with the FL midi out channel. There's some configuration on fl so i can make it sound?... Please help ... This is frustrating.. I

  • @Fatbmusic You have to set up the midi input port in the settings of the VST of EWQL gold to a number, maybe like 0 or 1, then you set a midi input track to have the same port, and then you can start loading instruments.

  • @Fatbmusic watc this also watch?v=Nfhcb73U61k

  • it would be nice of you explain how you did alot of this. . . break it down for people. . . just sayin

  • @PrinceYJ1 I'm only going over how to use many of the crescendo samples effectively. There is a lot going on in many aspects, but as the title says, I am only focusing on this one technique in particular. My next video will be on setting up FL Studio for writing an orchestral track, if you want more tutorials on other things let me know what other tutorials you'd like to see.

  • @letspretendxc0re Hi Matthew thanks for the tutorials i subbed.. these really helped please make more sometime, like for: orchestral track structure / when to add elements etc , basically just how to make good orchestral tracks; if you can take us through step by step or something.. would be much appreciated, thanks.

  • The clicking was due clipping and going above 0db ! and then the recorder picking up the overdub.

  • @JedoDre The EQ I get naturally with these libraries sound great already, I usually never have to tweak that.

  • @letspretendxc0re Aha, so it's combos.

But, out of interest, presumably you still use an EQ for the final result / or some sort of mastering, right?

  • @JedoDre It's not that at all. EWQL comes with specific textural sounds for each instrument section. There are more than one version of Violins playing legato. For example, there's a heavy legato and a soft legato. Don't forget about staccato and things like that as well. Being an experienced musician and composer, I know which specific sounds fit well with other ones, rather than just picking any old violin patch.
