no its overprescribed because students realize that it helps them study at a much higher level than before. Then what they do is bullshit the doctors by telling them like "oh i cant focus in class and im always so tired blabla bla". then dr. money grubber is like okey dokey adderall for you

Meanwhile, it should be mentioned that kids and adults who actually have to deal with living with ADHD on an everyday basis have to go through complete hell just to get an evaluation...let alone a prescription for Adderall...

I was on Adderol for a while. It was really awesome, but then it got really scary.

I dont understand why normal children need drugs for normal functioning. There is another medicine to get good grades , interest. If you take genuine interest in something , focus automatically comes, the interest is enough to release all the required dopamine into the mesolimbic reward pathway. Achieviing small things ( just a little more than what you think you can achieve) and getting equivalent rewards ( happiness of achieving knowledge) slowly builds the confidence and focus automatically

Alot of people who have ADHD NEED Adderall to function normally, like myself. And Doctors should NOT be hesitant to prescribe Adderall to ANYONE who has been diagnosed with ADHD. That is wrong in many ways. Just because it has a high abuse potential, DOESN'T mean that some people still need it... SO, if you are a doctor reading this, do the right decision and be OPEN MINDED, and realize that alot of people truly need Adderall just to function normally and get day-to-day tasks done.

Oh, I am sorry. They'll tell you there is no cocaine in them and that they are only similar to cocaine and meth. Similar folks. Similar. The similarities are a bunch of addicts and the doc's mostly wouldn't dare prescribe their loved ones. Anyhoot, drugs are friggin awesome.
