@silentdot ......lol, maybe she hasn't come to realise the 'Omnipresence' of God... but it's forgivable coz I've prayed 'let your presence fill this place' then realising He is everywhere! ooops! but my intention in the prayer was to have the Holy Spirit speak... through scripture, praise and sermon.....AND sacraments!.. for those liturgically inclined.

I'm pretty sure Charles Wesley would of been critizised for the choice of lyrics he had by the 'then' conservative of the day. As long as there is 'God glorifying' intentions to the lyrics... for the the 'arm chair theologians' out there.. 'systematic theology' ... praise needs to speak into the context of the church without stepping into heresy .......like 'Jesus is my boyfriend'... yes we are Hid bride BUT not in a erotic way... coz that would just be weird!!!

@BigChiefMoose so the pure all things are pure....Titus

@BigChiefMoose JMM in an interview said that "sloppy wet kiss" was in reference to the sloppiness of the car accident that took his friend's life... when heaven meets earth sometimes it is sloppy.

@karatemomma Hmmm... (scratches head)

'oh, I just love it when God comes in a room'
but I'm pretty sure He's everywhere anyway. when we 'feel him more' it's us finally understanding/realising His presence and opening our hearts to welcome Him more, isn't it? :s

@24worship7 As a Husband, I can certainly understand what the song writer meant by "sloppy wet Kiss". It is a display of pure passion and desire that only can be appreciated by Two becoming One. Nothing Perverted or Lustful just a longing to crawl inside of my wife's skin so to speak because the Love is so Strong. That is the a pretty good picture of our Father's Love for us.

@24worship7 Amen to that.

Good Christian Music
While I am a firm believer and worshiper of Jesus Christ, I do have somewhat of a question: "sloppy, wet kiss?" If I may be frank here, when did it become popular to mix in innuendo with true, reverent worship? Besides, I always thought it was "beautiful kiss." Hallelujah anyhow.

@BigChiefMoose Catherine is singing the song as it was written by John Mark Mcmillan...others like David Crowder have tried to 'clean up' the lyrics by changing it to "unforeseen kiss". Personally, I like the original. Jesus - the creator-(john 1) stepped out of heaven into the earth and became 100% human (Phil 2). A 'sloppy wet kiss' is a universal human expression of deep love (only 'dirty' or irreverent to the worldly mind). What better way to express the way "heaven meets earth"? Eph 5:32
