SAVE LIBERTYLAND Sampler 2

The second weekly installment of the WDRTV series of videos showing the true story history of the all-girl band, The Zippins Pippins, who began the original SAVE LIBERTYLAND group to bring forward public awareness of the fight to save our neighborhood park from destruction and demolition by the Herenton administration that, among other things, has cost inner city youths within walking distance of Libertyland in the three adjoining areas of Orange Mound, Boxdale, and Cooper-Young 500 jobs a years for five yeras now, and going on six as the new Wharton administration continues this abyssmal policy that is costing Memphians and Midtowners their heritage and historic rides, while insiders and backroom deals profit politicians and contractors at the expense of the voting public. The ensuing installments will clarify the obsfucations of City Hall and the downright bullying of single mothers, families, and concerned citizens by elected officials and appointed commissioners. World Boogie IS Coming! Greed is bad. Open Democracy is good. Bring back Libertyland!
