Okay, So this is Chadwick (aka, Chad's Wick of Fire). I can't believe this is the horse that just a year ago wasn't even saddle broke. He's still green on all of the patterns. Actually, I'm very proud of him.

There were 5 events: keyhole, pole bending, stake race, texas barrels, and barrels.
JUST A NOTE: I am extremely proud of his pole run. He has never loped a pole pattern until now, and we haven't really practiced it at home, since his main training so far has been barrels. He is amazingly smart, and even changed his leads!

His turns have also gotten a lot better, and though there's still work to be done, I'm very proud of his effort.

  • lol, thanks. I didn't put up the barrel video, because it was just embarrassing. As you can kinda see in the stake race, he's gotten into this bad habit of bowing away from my rein and ignoring my leg. So our 1st barrel... well, lets just say we had a very round about way of going around, lol. I didn't want to share, especially after talking about his success at home XP lol. But, luckily, we've starting him on a training fork, which helps a lot. So we shouldn't be having that problem nemore.

  • im in love with palominos and i reallllyyy think that you and this horse have lots of potential but i have a little constructive criticism :) instead of pulling his head away from the poles to get him away from them, teach him to move his shoulders and let him bend around the poles. when you pull his head away from it, it throws his shoulder into it, knocking the pole down. but other than that it looked pretty good :) keep up the good work!

  • OMG, he is doing SOOOOOOOOOOO good! Man he booked it out of that keyhole!!!! Awsome job with the poles, he almost made it through loping the whole thing. What happened to the barrel video?? :( ?
