I just got the Bebot! Spent a few hours trying to learn how to use it properly, and Jordan's video really helped. Anyways, here goes! It's not great, and it took me a while to get the octave switch not sound too odd. I hope you guys enjoy it.

I've also uploaded a screenshot of my scale settings for those interested:

  • that's actually the lap steel section

  • Wow you're right. It's been a while since I watched them play it on Score. I totally forgot about the existence of the lap steel.

  • it seems like everyone is doing this section of Octavarium. there was twon things I wanted to see done on Bebot. The solo of a rite of Passage (done) and the beginning of Octavarium itself. I think that would be interesting.

  • The solo to ARoP isn't exactly easy to figure out. JR doesn't even play it properly live lol.

  • Thanks for the settings - but which preset sound do you use in the first place? bebot? power pwm? belter etc

  • By the way now I think it may be the Belter instead...

  • how you configure the bebot for that thing in the (your) left corner? its a + and - i think hahaa

  • very nice. bebot ftw!

  • @FlashCE it's because the screen is so tiny, i'm not sure how he did it in the studio, my only guess is that he did multiple takes and peiced them together to sound right. do you know the settings he used for a rite of passage?

  • Someone should play the whole intro with it.

  • that would take forever to learn haha plus switching from effects would be hell but i'll try it
