  • Hey dude, I've got some wrist pain due to long periods using a regular mouse, do you think a Trackman like these can help me?

  • @RodrigoCFD This is the reason I started using them a few years back at work. I would recommend giving one of them a try and seeing how it goes. It might take a few days to get used to switching to using the ball but once you're used to it it's quite nice. It also makes a nice remote control mouse if you have a HTPC setup :)

  • I noticed 2 little holes on the ball of my M570. This gives me some little blocking when rolling the ball. Don't you noticed that?

  • @Bronzato I have not noticed holes in the surface of the ball. Mine feels smooth and even across the surface. Are you sure that is not a defect?

  • Did the movement break in yet?

  • I use mine from gaming. Granted, I've used the trackman (red ball) 24/7 for the past 7 years. I can compete very easily with other players in any genre. Just get used the type of mouse, and if you can make it "normal" for you, then you'll be fine.

  • Why do you need to pop the balls up so much???????????

  • @CurseHunter4 I don't think the sensor will be affected. The ball can get dirty, and the contact points can collect dirt too, but both are very easy to clean.

  • I have only one question. I know its disgusting, but my are often sweat. does that effect the trackball mouse: the ball slips or the sensor does not work right?

im planning on buying the m570 for cad and gaming of course :) and i dont wanna buy something that i cannot depend on [sry for my english]

    thx

  • @MrDangeresque Yeah -or.. When I was a kid an old guy showed me how to put together fishing rod extensions..He would rub the end of each rod piece next to his nose.. theoretically getting oil . I always did that and it seemed to keep them from sticking together. Maybe good for trackballs? I will do mine with hands and nose and cover all the bases . Lets see now... where else could one rub it on.....

    dirty old guy... now

  • what i really dont understand is how you play games with it ?
