A non-3D projector running at 60 hz will produce a "rainbow" if you are too close or happen to move your head either to see who's ther or even focus on the upper right side or left side of the screen.Again, on these guys, the new "Dark Chips" help on this, but a quality HD Projector still costs around $1,500 and one that runs at 240hz is nearly $5,000 I just wanted to save you trouble. At many onlines look for ASUS 23" with NVIDIA 3D and you'll fine.but only on the computer not on a TV.

I recommend an ASUS Nvidia 3D-Vision 23" monitor with glass on the computer, but TV-- I wouldn't go with LCD-- Maybe LED but you need to consider refresh rate because the glasses are active-shutter and alternate like a strobe and at 120hz any monitor more than 3 feet away from you will need to turn off all the lights to avoid the periphal flicker-- it makes many people dizzy or sick.

In a nutshell if you are wanting to jump onto the "3D" revolution, do not buy a television or computer monitor that has less than a 240hz refresh rate-- today's 3D TV's and computer monitors (plasma is different) run at 120hz, which is needed to have 60hz for each eye. On a computer monitor, it's not that bad of a problem-- but TV's are further away from your eyes and you will get flicker in the corners of your eyes (more)
