OWS is a coalition made of people who are mostly just really pissed off. They hate the way the government is run, they hate the way that large corporations control congress, and they want to stop it.
The only problem is...they don't know how to. Instead of putting up candidates they trust or voting out bad politicians, they're trying to start some kind of pseudo velvet revolution. They want to be the Tarhir Square protestors, when what they should be is the ANC.
@howtheworldworks i dont think you realize that metaphorically everyone doesnt have an equal chance or the resources too buy a train ticket. the theory of social darwinism only applies if everyone starts out on equal footing
Your point about the train video is one of the worst points you have ever made.
If someone can't afford a train ticket, then they shouldn't get on the train, if they need to be somewhere (they are employed) they will be able to afford to pay, therefore they should pay like everyone else.
The rich however, they don't even pay tax, they avoid income tax by investing their money in bonds and dividends.
I would be happy if the 99% threw the richest 1% into the ocean. That WOULD be justice.
OWS is 100% useless!!! It does nothing for the public at large but make their day harder. It's a bunch of people who are nothing more then grown up junkies, and are unwilling to work for a living! They want hand outs without even having to hold out their hands. OWS nothing more then a group a failures that can't accept it.
@sassypantz676 - rail roads started in Germany in the mid-16th century, and began as private enterprise. The inventor of the steam locomotive was not a government employee, nor was he funded by the government to do so.
The first bus was invented by Pascal, and the only government involvement was, eventually, to regulate the fares, limiting bus usage to the wealthy, and as a byproduct killing bus usage for almost 150 years.

You're wrong about the train video. He actually paid for two singles, but they accidently gave him two singles to the SAME PLACE.

@sassypantz676 - in fact, the first locomotive drawn railroad trains were private enterprise concerns, created out of capitalistic ambitions.
