First of all, Clive Barker had almost nothing to do with this movie. Clive? He's the creator of Pinhead, though I doubt you even know that much. Plus, he actually is a religious man, despite being a horror novelist. You can be both. What would even make you think the murdering, torturing monster is the author avatar? Overall though, I find it laughable that some of you expect even the most heinous of villains to respect God.
