Police apprehended a man late Thursday afternoon after an hourlong standoff at a Lancaster city store.

City police Lt. Chris Laser characterized the incident as a "domestic situation." Police said the man, Angel Santana III, 27, of Lancaster, confronted an acquaintance at Sneaker Villa, 45 N. Queen St., shortly before 3:30 p.m. Police believe he was armed with a handheld drill made to look like a pistol. The drill was found after the incident.
