This video shows the modern Computer Vision capability implemented on a PC and using a regular USB web cam. The front object - a moving person in the scene, is separated from the background in the 640 by 480 live video frames at an up to 15 frames per second processing speed, fast enough to identify the positions of all the fingers and thumbs.

  • i think u did that by using sustracting technique.. it's not a big deal

  • Did you use one or two camera. Seem so fast. Can you tell me a litle about algorithm. Thanks.

  • Frame difference?

  • This reminds me of that Numa Numa Song.

So you simply compared the differences in each frame, whitened the pixels in question and drew them on top? I am currently doing an ANPR project.

  • Pretty cool stuff.

  • nice one! able to filter out the background. using matlab perhaps?
