Hmmm, well, some people can take a message of corporate bullshit away from this, but maybe someone else might realize that anyone can have a positive effect on others. You can sit around and gripe about how awful everything is, or actually do something smart and make everyone's life a little better. Ultimately, it's your choice to have a positive effect on others or not.

The idea is okay, a person-to-person warmth going live. It is the way his managers try to incorporate it and to impose corporate context and purposes. That smells bullshit. Or worse, the kid WAS actually thinking about his job doing this.
