You can recover from religion. There is hope, and you are not alone.

Hear laughter, tears, and sincerity as two speakers introduce Marlene Winell, author of Leaving the Fold.

This is just one of many great presentations, performances, and events from the annual Texas Freethought Convention! The main speaker is YouTube user 97Roscoe, and I plan to share more of his story soon. Check out his channel, say hi, and stay tuned... He plans to become an active voice on YouTube!

  • wow this made my day :D funny guy!

  • @daileydevotion Lol if i'm a sinner which is bad and the devil is bad then me and him will get on just fine , he won't punish because we will both be bad we will be like best friends.

(Lol JK there is no hell)

  • @daileydevotion Firstly the Greeks KNEW the world was a sphere when they rewrote the bible..

Next if you would care to turn to Isiah 22:18 (the same book) you'll see the actual word that should have been used had the author known the shape of the earth.

Plus 'hwg' or even 'chûgh' appears lots in hebrew...It does not literally translate to sphere. it literally translates to 'line of the horizon' or 'circle'... as explained to you by Dr. Robert J. Schneider professor of classical languages.

  • @daileydevotion yeah super.... I suppose that all makes sense now...since the Julian calender puts things out by a massive 1 year every 36,500 years or about 10 minutes a year!

The difference is minuscule on a scale of centuries and irrelevant to the point I made. Going all the way back to 40,000bc it would only be out by one year.

So again how do you account for nobody noticing the flood since its inside recoded history? Julian calenders and exact dates or not?

  • @daileydevotion My opinions are the same opinions I have of big brother in the book 1984... which of course is fiction... and since I'd say that would be a terrible world to live in...yet you would think it would be a superb place to live, then most of my opinions are of you...and not a fictional character.

  • @MumblingMickey for someone who doesn't even believe in God, you sure do have some strong opinions on Him.

  • @MumblingMickey Just look it up in the dictionary, Einstein.

  • @daileydevotion If you read the bit about angels and rebellions and whatnot you'd very quickly realise that God is not omnipotent... anything but! in fact God manages to screw up many times in the bible...and the funny thing is the excuse is always 'mysterious ways'... but mysterious ways does not excuse observed, self confessed errors which are then rectified... but again only in linear time!

Many of these errors are amazingly stupid ones too... very basic stuff a 10 year old would get right!
