as a straight guy, I could care less what he looks like. I'm also a songwriter, and I really thought it was a great pop song, even though I'll agree that the lyrics were a little childish. I'm surprised that you would insult his guitar playing skills though. I certainly can't play that well, and I doubt you can either

@thedup Just because you claim to be a songwriter doesn't mean you're a good one, or have an understanding of music and what determines greatness. It means you claim to be a songwriter. That's it.

but you're right, you don't need talent to claim to be a songwriter, and I've seen quite a few examples of that in my life.
