@MacOSXMason Not all Sprint areas were roaming-fee free.
Affiliate-run areas, such as iPCS in the Midwest, still had the 69 cent/minute off-network roaming charge (with an additional 25 cents/minutes in certain roaming areas) on Fair & Flexible and (later) Power Pack plans. It wasn't until Sprint Everything plans launched that iPCS dropped the 69c/25c/minute charge on most plans.
Sprint later bought iPCS (long story behind that one) and dropped the roaming fees entirely.

really superb commercial, set and acting first class; and the commercial stays with the viewer because each person needs to think about what is the meaning.
