The LC9 is Ruger's new 9mm pocket pistol which has proven to be reliable and trouble free. With demensions similar to the Kel-Tec PF9, there is no question who Ruger is gunning for. The LC9 has replaceable three dot sights, holds a total of 8 rounds. The extended magazine plate allows you to get a complete grip. Yet it will still fit in your pocket for use. The LC9 only has a couple of drawbacks. If Ruger will refine the trigger and discontinue the magazine safety, it could have the best pocket 9mm on the market.

  • Over 500 rds thru my LC9 and it just gets better to shoot. I may be one of the very few people that actually likes the long trigger pull on the LC9. It presents no problem for me and it actually helps me in staging the trigger. I'm very comfortable with it. I carry it EVERYDAY in my IWB holster. One thing I did was when I first got it I polished the feed ramp after the firt 50 rds. No problem feeding or ejecting.

  • @deputysheriff100 Not had any reliability issue with the gun. It still looks really great after over 800 rounds. I just find the trigger on the LC9 not to be as good as the Kahr PM9, Kimber Solo, Kel-Tec PF9, Taurus Slim or Diamondback DB9. It certainly has a better trigger than my Bodyguard 380 but I shoot the BG380 better for some reason. I can shoot it well enough for it's purpose just not as good as the others.

  • what video editor you useing?

  • @blackriflex39 I use Windows Live Move Maker which comes with Microsoft Windows. I also have Cyberlink Power Director. The Cyberlink is suppose to be one of the best out there but it seems too complicated. I am going to go HD in a few weeks. I hope to improve my editing skills. I really suck at it now.

  • Can't stand a magazine safety!

  • @AccuracySpeaks I totally agree!

  • 10 minutes 55 seconds - Nutnfancy would've taken about 48 minutes 59 seconds to review the same gun and there wouldn't have been any shooing demonstrations! LOL Don't get me wrong, I like Nutnfancy but you're a much better reviewer than he is.

You make a good vid - I like your reviews because you don't waste time or words.

  • Tin roof brass retrieval system. ;p

  • That certainly looks like a fantastic size.

  • Very nice! I just picked up a PM9 to make my EDC instead of the Bodyguard .380 and I really like it. None of these micro, single stack 9mm's are really *enjoyable* to shoot but these LC9's seem to have quite a few fans. Solid, review....well done :)

  • @FirearmPatriot Thanks for your response, and thanks for the top quality videos!

  • YES! I LOVE the sound of brass on a tin roof! So relaxing! Great vid! THANKS!
