The music was also used as the closing titles to GMB in about 1987/8 facing over the presenterss to the famous Egg Cups!

Wow! Cool to see this! I had an audio recording of this from way back when, but couldn't remember how it looked. IIRC this promotion was actually broadcast during the long period when TV-am's staff were on strike. An outsourced production no doubt.

Yeah, its official that TV-AM kicked ass, I enjoyed waking up to Mike Morris, he was a top class presenter.
GMTV (give me the vallium [The Late Bob Monkhouse :( sadly missed by me]) really SUCKS! PFFF! Get rid of GMTV and bring back TV-AM! - maybe we should get a petition started HEH

It might be cheesy but TV-am was much, much better than the dross that has been served up since officially the worst day for television EVER - 1st January 1993, when bloody rubbish Carlton and of course the crap GMTV came in.
